It is well known that conventional concrete has a tendency to shrink at the early stage of hardening and this shrinkage leads to cracks on the concrete. The addition of fiber effectively suppresses the cracks. ARG fiber has high modulus of elasticity and tensile strength. This technical bulletin shows the effect on crack control of ARG fiber. Super-Cracknon is made of ARG fiber and has been developed for the controlling cracks of cementitious matrices. There are two types of Super-Cracknon, Pack for concrete and mortar and Net for mortar.
