NEG received B score in 2024 CDP Climate Change.

【About CDP】
CDP is an international nonprofit organization that helps companies disclose their information relating to climate change, forest and water security. It is widely recognized as a global standard for disclosure of information on the environment.
CDP also works to encourage companies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and conserve water resources and forests.
CDP evaluates the disclosure on an eight-level (A, A-, B, B-, C, C-, D, D-). B score we are ranked indicates environmental management that "companies have addressed the environmental impacts of their business and ensure good environmental management."

【Our initiatives】
We aim to achieve CO₂ emissions reduction target for 2030 (Scope1+Scope2) and carbon neutrality by 2050, and undertake measures including introducing all-electric melting furnaces across our product lines, switching over to energy-efficient facilities, and investing in renewable energy.
We strive to address climate change and contribute to the development of a sustainable society.
