Transmittance Curve

The transmittance of FireLite is nearly identical to that of float glass. The 5mm thick FireLite™ is a highly transparent glass, with a visible light transmittance of 87%.

US UL Standard Test

The UL Standard, a leading U.S. safety standard, mandates that fire doors undergo testing for safety during fire extinguishing operations. This includes not only a heating test but also a water discharge test conducted immediately after heating to ensure that no significant defects occur during firefighting efforts. Following independent testing, FireLite was confirmed to meet this rigorous UL standard.

News:Fire-Resistant Glass "FireLite™" Obtains EPD (Environmental Product Declaration)

Fire-resistant glass, "FireLite™ ※1" has obtained the "SuMPO EPD※2" environmental label from the Sustainable Management Promotion Organization (SuMPO).
The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is an international environmental label that quantitatively calculates the environmental impact of a product's life cycle (including CO2 emissions and other environmental burdens) and is obtained and disclosed after passing third-party verification. With this certification, buildings using "FireLite™" will be able to understand the environmental impact from raw material procurement to factory shipment, meeting the needs of those who wish to select building materials with lower environmental impact.
