Dinorex UTG™ Adopted for motorola's Foldable Smartphone "motorola razr fold"

Nippon Electric Glass Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Otsu, Shiga, Japan; President: Akira Kishimoto; “NEG”) has announced that its ultra-thin glass for chemical strengthening, Dinorex UTG™, has been adopted in the motorola razr fold, a new foldable smartphone by Motorola Mobility ("motorola").
Dinorex UTG™ was also used in the 2024 motorola razr 50 series and the 2025 motorola razr 60 series. In recognition of its quality and reliability, it has now been adopted in the motorola razr fold, motorola’s first horizontally foldable smartphone.

For the motorola razr fold, NEG’s Dinorex UTG™ has been adopted for the inner main display. Despite being thinner than a strand of hair, Dinorex UTG™ offers high reliability that withstands the rigorous durability evaluation tests defined by motorola. It achieves both high durability and display quality, which are essential for foldable smartphones.

Dinorex UTG™ has also been adopted by overseas manufacturers such as Xiaomi and HONOR, in addition to motorola, expanding its track record of adoption among global manufacturers. Its adoption in the foldable smartphone market continues to grow steadily, and NEG will continue to contribute to the evolution of next-generation mobile devices through advanced glass materials.
