Speakers featuring Sonarion Diaphragms, GlaXfi “BSP-24” Launched in Japan
The GlaXfi “BSP-24” speaker, featuring the Sonarion™ diaphragm jointly developed by Nippon Electric Glass Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Otsu, Shiga, Japan; President: Akira Kishimoto; "NEG") and GAIT, a Taiwanese glass processing manufacturer, has been gone on sale in Japan.
GAIT handles the entire process for this product, from diaphragm forming to unit design, manufacturing, and sales. The Sonarion™ diaphragm also received the “Technical Special Award” at the 41st HiVi Grand Prix 2025.
About GlaXfi “BSP-24”
The GlaXfi “BSP-24” features Sonarion™ diaphragms in both the tweeter and woofer. It delivers clear high frequencies through a tweeter with a thickness of approximately 50 μm, and powerful yet delicate mid- to low-frequency sound through a 6.5-inch woofer.
